All persons attending, dancers and spectators, are required to purchase wristbands via their registered teacher. Non-competing pre-school children will be exempt but teachers are asked to provide details to ensure hall capacity is not breached.
Wristbands should be securely fastened before entry.
Lost, damaged or misplaced bands will not be replaced.
Where available, additional bands may be available on the door, however we would ask that where this is the case, those entering are confirmed as part of a group by the relevant dance teacher.
Parents are allowed to film/photograph their own child. If sharing to Social media, please ensure no other dancers are in the image/video and please ensure privacy settings are appropriate.
Where this is a problem, please advise in advance of the dancers section and parents will be asked not to do so in that particular heat.
Dance teachers should nominate those permitted to video squad entries. These persons will be directed to an allocated space with best view point. No other persons are permitted to video teams to protect the teachers choreography.
Cheer We Go staff will take videos and still images throughout the day which will be posted on our social media channels. Should there be any issues in this regard, teachers are asked to report prior to the competition starting.
Where possible, our professional photographer will be on site at each competition.
Participants are asked to keep all walkways clear.
All teachers/parents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with fire exits at the start of the event.
Dancers are asked not to eat/chew gum whilst dancing.
All persons under the age of 16 must have an accompanying responsible adult who are asked to ensure the whereabouts of the child is known at all times.
Appropriate footwear must be worn.
It is suggested that no jewellery is worn, where this is not possible, it should be covered.
Where venues do not allow packed lunches, details will be posted together with food options in advance.
Participants should be fit enough to compete and where there is ay medical concerns, this should be addressed with a health professional before taking part.
