Pre-choreographed routines, in five levels ranging from the beginner to more advanced dancer.
Level 1 - Beginners
Level 2 - Starters
Level 3 - Intermediate
Level 4 - Champions
Level 5 - Premier Champions
Teachers should choose the entry level based on dancers experience, which can not be altered after initial registration.
Dancers must compete in the relevant age category and proof of age should be made available if required. Teachers please check before entries are made.
Where entering more than one level, dancers must compete in consecutive levels.
Qualified teachers may take part in these events but should only compete in Adult category level 4 or 5.
Awards will be given for all dancers and all winners from each level will compete in a Winner Takes It All final.
A fun competition where dancers can showcase their own choreography.
Dancers should compete in the age category applicable to the eldest of the two dancers.
No gymnastics, acrobatics or stunts allowed.
At larger festivals, pairs entries will be split into Starter and Champ sections (see details below).
Teams will be split into four sections;
Small Teams - Less than 12 dancers
Large - More than 12 dancers
Each team can then select the level most relevant to them;
Starter - Less than 3 previous Team Entries
Champs - Placed 1st or 2nd at previous events
The age category of the team will be determined by the eldest dancer.
Duration of music should be no more than 3 minutes and should be appropriate for the age group.
Minimum number for all teams is six dancers.
No gymnastics, acrobatics or stunts allowed.
Teachers are permitted to dance in teams.
Team music must be sent no later than the Tuesday before the competition to admin@cheerwego.uk
